BMW Eastern Region hosts New Year celebration in Wuzhen

Nearly 1,000 guests gathered in Wuzhen for the programme

On 15 January, BMW Eastern Region held its 2020 Chinese New Year Celebration in Wuzhen, welcoming nearly 1,000 guests and media representatives under the theme "Together for the New Year".

The programme took place across Wuzhen West Scenic Zone, where traditional New Year customs and group activities were arranged throughout the town.

New Year Activities

Traditional folk customs were included throughout the program

Guests took part in a series of seasonal activities across Wuzhen

Aclivities included writing Spring Festival couplets, paper-cutting, lantern riddles, and the traditional long-street banguet.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, guests continued to take part in the outdoor programmes and evening activities across the scenic zome.

Town-wide Programme

Historic venues across the town were used for different activities

Multiple locations in Wuzhen were incorporated into the event schedule

Guests visited the lndigo Fabric workshop, wuzhen Post Office, and Zhaoming Academy, where different cultural activities were arranged during the programme.

The evening long-street banquet was held along the old streets of Wuzhen, with local food stalls and traditional festival snacks included as part of the event.

In addition to the scheduled programmes, customised activities such as pottery-making and local pastry workshops were arranged based on the event reguirements.

To date, Wuzhen West Scenic Zone has received more than 10,000 business and conference groups, including product launches, annual meetings,and corporate events across the automotive,healthcare,cosmetics, and technology sectors.
